About the role
We are seeking a motivated Journals Editorial Intern to join our dynamic editorial team. In this role, you will assist with the management of academic journals, supporting various editorial processes, including manuscript submission, peer review coordination, and communications with authors and reviewers. You will gain hands-on experience in the publishing industry, contributing to the growth and quality of scholarly content while enhancing your understanding of academic publishing standards and practices.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing and organizing submitted manuscripts, tracking submission statuses, and maintaining accurate records in our editorial management system. You will also assist in preparing editorial correspondence and promotional materials, as well as conducting research on relevant topics to support our editorial team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
To succeed in this position, you should be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program, with a passion for academic writing and publishing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
