Bricklayer

Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Bricklayer to join a busy construction project in Doncaster City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to work with a reputable contractor on an ongoing project.

The Role

As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality brick and block work while working safely and efficiently on site.

Typical duties include:

• Laying bricks and blocks to specification.
• Carrying out facework and general bricklaying duties.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.
• Working from a mast climbing work platform.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area.
• Working closely with site management and other trades.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Mast Climbing Work Platform (MCWP) certificate – essential.
• Previous experience as a Bricklayer on construction sites.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
