Plumber

Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a busy construction project in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Plumber to work with a reputable contractor on an ongoing project.

The Role

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of first and second fix plumbing duties on site, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Typical duties include:

• First and second fix plumbing.
• Installing and maintaining pipework and sanitary ware.
• Fitting bathroom and kitchen plumbing systems.
• Testing and commissioning plumbing installations.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Working closely with other trades and site management.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS or JIB/Skills Card.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Plumber on construction sites.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
