Following a highly successful start to 2026, our client, a leading supplier of C-Parts to such sectors as aerospace, defence, automotive, oil and gas, is seeking a Lead Buyer looking for the opportunity to develop their career within a growing and ambitous business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sourcing/purchasing background in a C-Part environment, preferably focused on regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, oil & gas. 

Key duties include:

Dealing with RFQ's in a timely manner and collating tenders for the sales team.

Providing solutions through knowledge of industry and C-Part supply chain.

Working closely with Quality, Sales and Operations to support new products introduction sourcing activities.

Deliver cost reduction activites through global sourcing and alternative materials.

Support customer and certification audits (ISO 9001 and EN 9120)

Maintain and develop supplier relationships and drive sustainability initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience:

Technically & commercially astute - strong pedigree with C-Parts.

Excellent communication skills, verbally & written.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to work well within time sensitive situations.
