Senior Waste Management Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Waste Management Physicist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading initiatives in the assessment, management, and disposal of radioactive and hazardous waste. You will analyze waste streams, develop safety protocols, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Your expertise will guide the design of waste management systems and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to minimize waste generation and enhance sustainability practices. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and environmental scientists, will be essential to ensure the successful implementation of waste management strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in physics, environmental science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in waste management or nuclear safety. A Ph.D. is preferred, but candidates with a Master’s degree and significant experience will also be considered. You should have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in waste management, as well as proficiency in data analysis and modeling techniques.
