Store Detective

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Store Detective to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preventing theft, fraud, and other losses within our retail environment. Your primary duties will include monitoring store premises through CCTV and in-person surveillance, identifying suspicious behavior, and performing undercover operations as needed. You will work closely with the management team to implement loss prevention strategies, conduct investigations, and compile reports on incidents for further action. Your keen observational skills will help ensure a safe shopping experience for our customers while protecting our assets.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retail security protocols and theft prevention techniques. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be required to interact with both customers and staff. Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and any certifications related to security or investigation will be an added advantage. Additionally, you must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the store’s operational needs.
