Job summary

HQ ARRC (Allied Rapid Reaction Corps) sits within the Land Forces Army structure which is part of the Army a major part of the MOD. HQ ARRC provides NATO with a rapidly deployable, flexible HQ that can act as a Joint, Land or Corps HQ for operations and crisis response. Its multi-national ethos, combination of cultures and innovation, strong professional reputation in NATO and proven track record in interoperability are unique among its High Readiness Force (Land) peers.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job description
The key purpose of this role is to continue the effective development, analysis, direction and implementation of methods and policies to deliver on improved behaviours and an enhanced lived experience for personnel within HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC), inclusive of subordinate formations.
Key responsibilities:
• Support the Behavioural Improvement team/function.
• Drive a cultural and positive behavioural change programme within ARRC units.
• Implement and deliver policy initiatives to address Unacceptable Behaviours and subordinate brigades.
• Manage the implementation and delivery of Climate Assessments within subordinate formations and assure they are conducting their assurance on Unit Climate Assessment programs IAW UK Policy.
• Coordinate the annual staff survey and lead with the initiation, analysis and product delivery of the resulting staff survey action plans.
• Act as the link into HQ Field Army for Behaviours, Diversity and Inclusion and Climate Assessments.
• Manage the implementation of the delivery outputs of the Army’s Sexual Harassment Survey, Armed Forces Continuous Attitudes Survey and liaising with stakeholders for Civil Service People Survey Input.
• Manage behavioural Working and Steering Groups and attend Army meetings as the ARRC representative for Behaviours, Diversity and Inclusion as well as Climate Assessments.
• Production of Health and Wellbeing reports and delivery of presentations for and subordinate Formations.
• Oversight of facilitating the Army’s Mental Health, Respect for Others training and Unit Alcohol Awareness training.
• Identify and, where appropriate, train HQ ARRC, Unit and behaviour staff outside the scope of centralised courses in order to address any training gaps.
• Promote an inclusive culture within HQ ARRC as secretary of the HQ Inclusion Committee, working to increase understanding and engagement with diversity and inclusion through education and initiatives.
• Provide Behaviours advice and support to formations on request.
• Conduct 2* 2nd Line of Defence Assurance of HQ ARRC’s casework acting to reduce delay and support the Brigades and Group to attain the behaviour casework Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Report and track high profile cases of Unacceptable Behaviours and produce statistics from a Framework Nation, NATO organisation and internationally for wider understanding and publication.

Essential skills required:
- Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritise workload and work on multiple tasks at one time.
- The ability to engage and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, always maintaining professionalism.
- Be an adaptable team player, with experience of working collaboratively, but comfortable when working alone, with minimal direction.
- Microsoft Office experience, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
