Lunchtime Catering Assistant

PCC Grade 2 SCP:  £24,413 Pro- rata

13.5 hours per week term time only.

Fixed Contract (MAT Cover) 1st September 2026 - 30th June 2027

A great new opportunity at City College Peterborough – Study Programmes has arisen for a Lunchtime Catering Assistant. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Catering Assistant to join our catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing friendly, efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Basic food preparation in line with food hygiene and safety standards
• Serving food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
• Replenishing the food counter as required
• Ensuring tables and service areas are kept clean at all times
• Sweeping and mopping of dining and kitchen areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service throughout the lunchtime period
