About the role
OVERVIEW:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected Legal 500 team advising charities, trustees and not-for-profit organisations on a broad range of legal, governance and regulatory matters. You will manage a varied caseload of the establishment and registration of charitable entities, trustee duties, governance, regulatory compliance, charity mergers, asset transfers, charity closures and de-registrations, while liaising directly with the Charity Commission. Your role will also involve drafting and reviewing constitutions, governance documentation and internal policies to ensure clients remain compliant with the relevant legal and regulatory framework. Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and demonstrable experience advising charities on governance, administration and regulatory matters. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships while delivering an exceptional standard of client service. You will also be encouraged to play an active role in business development, networking and raising the profile of the team, helping to further strengthen the firm's established reputation within the charity sector. In return, you will join a supportive firm with a genuine commitment to professional development, offering clear opportunities for long term career progression, together with a competitive salary of £60,000–£85,000 DOE, a bonus scheme, comprehensive benefits package and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
