Our client is a precision engineering company that specialising in machining solutions for a wide range of industry sectors. They are seeking a CAD Engineer/Estimator to join their existing team. As a CAD Engineer/Estimator you will focus on creating detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D and carry out estimating responsibilities for each project.

CAD Engineer/Estimator Responsibilities:

–          Must be able to gather and work to engineering specifications

–          Create detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD 2D software

–          Review and update legacy drawings

–          Provide technical support to the wider team

–          Assist with the CAD/CAM programming when required

–          Carry out estimating responsibilities for each project.

CAD Engineer/Estimator Requirements:

–          Previous experience in a Design related position

–          Experienced in creating 2D designs using AutoCAD

–          CAD CAM experience would be advantageous

–          Must be a team player
