Provide Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, welcoming and supportive specialist school from September. The school supports children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties, providing personalised learning and high levels of care to meet each pupil’s individual needs. Every day brings new opportunities to build confidence, celebrate progress and help pupils develop both academically and personally.
The Role as a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties within the classroom and during wider school activities.
• Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence and engagement.
• Work alongside teachers to adapt learning and deliver personalised support.
• Promote pupils’ communication, independence and social development.
• Contribute to a safe, caring and positive learning environment where every child feels valued.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Kind, patient and enthusiastic.
• Confident building positive relationships with children and young people.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to work well as part of a team.
• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Willing to learn and develop within SEND education.

Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential. Whether you’ve worked in education, care, youth work or are looking to begin a career supporting children with SEND, we’d love to hear from you. If you have the right attitude, empathy and commitment, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in a specialist setting.
