Rail Recruitment Consultant – Civil Engineering  – Our client is a highly respected recruitment business with an established presence across the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Rail, and Construction sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take over a warm desk with live vacancies and long-standing client relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter seeking immediate billing potential, or for an industry professional with a background in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Rail, or Construction who is looking to transition into recruitment.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will inherit an established desk with active clients and a steady flow of permanent and contract vacancies across Engineering, Production, Site Management, and Project Leadership disciplines.

The desk has been developed over several years and offers a strong foundation for someone looking to build on existing relationships while developing new business opportunities within the sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing relationships with existing clients and candidates
• Sourcing, interviewing, and placing high-quality professionals across the Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Rail, and Construction sectors
• Managing the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to offer management and placement
• Developing new business opportunities within existing and target accounts
• Building a strong network of industry contacts and market knowledge
• Delivering a high level of service to both clients and candidates

About You

• Experienced Recruitment Consultants with a background in permanent or contract recruitment
• Professionals currently working within Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Rail, or Construction who are looking to move into a rewarding recruitment career
