Freelance Senior Electrician – Solar & Renewables Bristol, Kent & Midlands | Work within approximately a 70-mile radius of your location £300–£400 per day | 2–3 days per week initially Strong potential to increase to full-time Winberry is currently partnering with a well-established electrical and renewable installations business to recruit experienced, senior on-the-tools electricians for an exciting freelance opportunity across Bristol, Kent and the Midlands. This is an ideal role for highly qualified professionals looking for consistent work while retaining the flexibility to take on other projects. The Role • Freelance position starting at 2–3 days per week, with flexibility required for team-based installations. • Primarily residential projects with occasional commercial work. • Comfortable working independently, problem-solving on site and maintaining exceptionally high standards. • Expected to provide your own tools and deliver tidy, customer-focused installations. Mandatory Qualifications (Essential) • BS7671 – 18th Edition • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing • Level 3 Core Electrical Qualification • Level 3 Awards in Solar PV, EV Charging and Electrical Energy Storage Systems • Able to provide certification to support Nominated Technical Person (NTP) status Ideal Candidate • Senior electrician who is actively on the tools rather than purely supervisory. • Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused. • Professional with excellent customer-facing skills. • Takes genuine pride in delivering high-quality installations.
