About the role
Factory Operative Location: Basildon, Essex
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 4.30 pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Noble Recruiting is recruiting Factory Operatives for a busy manufacturing company based in Basildon. This is a hands-on role working within a factory environment. You will be supporting production, learning basic fabrication and machine operating duties, and helping the team meet daily deadlines.
Duties include:
- Measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling materials
- Operating factory machinery
- Assisting with CNC cutting and milling machines
- Fitting finishing components
- Quality checking finished work
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Working to production deadlines
You will need:
- Previous factory, production or assembly experience would be an advantage
- A good eye for detail
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- A hands on attitude
- To be comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting
- A willingness to learn
