Project Manager - Groundworks

Project Manager – Groundworks & Civils Location: Northfleet, Kent Start: Immediate Duration: Long-term contract We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a long-term groundworks and civils contract based in Northfleet, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background working for a groundworks, civils or RC frame subcontractor, looking for a long-term position with a well-established contractor. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, overseeing site operations from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. You will need to be confident managing multiple elements of a project and have a strong understanding of groundworks and civil engineering operations. Requirements: • Proven experience working as a Project Manager within groundworks, civils or RC frame • Strong subcontractor background is essential • Previous experience managing groundworks and civil engineering packages • SMSTS • Black CSCS Card • Temporary Works Coordinator or Temporary Works Supervisor qualification • Strong understanding of health & safety, programme and quality management • Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders • Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills • Ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery The Role: • Long-term groundworks/civils contract • Based in Northfleet, Kent • Immediate start available • Competitive day rate/salary available depending on experience • Long-term opportunity with potential for further work • Working alongside an experienced project and site team • Opportunity to secure further projects following successful completion If you are an experienced Project Manager with a strong groundworks, civils or RC frame subcontractor background and are available for an immediate start, please get in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
