Site Manager – Ground-Up School Extension • Ashford, Kent (TN27 8AL) • £220 - £230 per day • Start: Monday 17th August 2026 • Duration: December 2026 Frontline Construction Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for an established contractor delivering a ground-up extension project at a school in Ashford, Kent (TN27 8AL). This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering new build and extension projects from groundworks through to final handover, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest standard within a live education environment. The Project • Ground-up school extension • Groundworks and substructure • Superstructure construction • Internal fit-out and finishing works • Final snagging and project handover • Live school environment Responsibilities • Manage the project from start through to practical completion • Oversee groundworks, structural works and all internal finishing packages • Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour throughout each phase of the build • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification • Manage site logistics, materials and deliveries • Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance • Liaise with the client, design team and subcontractors • Keep accurate site records and provide regular progress updates Essential Requirements • SMSTS • First Aid at Work • CSCS Card • Enhanced DBS (essential) • Proven experience managing ground-up new build or extension projects through to completion • Strong understanding of groundworks, structural works, internal finishing packages and programme management • Excellent communication and organisational skills Apply If you're an experienced Site Manager available from Monday 17th August 2026 and have the required qualifications, including a valid Enhanced DBS, we'd like to hear from you.
