Sales Specialist – Automotive Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £20,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE up to £85,000)

Noble Recruiting are working with a high-profile automotive dealership in Chelmsford, representing some of the world’s most recognised vehicle brands, to find an experienced Sales Specialist to join their team. This is a performance-driven sales role suited to someone confident in handling high-value transactions and delivering a professional customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell prestige vehicles in line with dealership standards and compliance requirements
• Manage inbound enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Conduct customer appointments, vehicle demonstrations, and test drives
• Build strong customer relationships to support repeat business and referrals
• Guide customers through vehicle specifications, options, and finance packages
• Negotiate sales and manage all associated documentation
• Oversee the full sales process from order through to handover
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

Person Specification

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience is essential
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to close deals effectively
• Interest in or knowledge of the automotive sector is advantageous
• Ability to deliver a high standard of customer service
• Full UK driving licence
• Must be over 23 due to insurance requirements
