Transport Administrator
Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
£28,000 to £30,000 per annum
Permanent, full time
Noble Recruiting is recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. This role supports the day to day movement of goods, from despatch planning and shipment paperwork to haulier updates, PODs and export packs.
Key responsibilities
• Support daily goods in and goods out schedules
• Arrange customer deliveries
• Prepare shipment and despatch documents
• Liaise with hauliers for updates and PODs
• Support UK, European and Rest of World shipments
• Update weekly logistics KPIs
• Compile monthly export packs
• Support the Transport Supervisor when needed
Experience required
• Recent transport admin experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Good Microsoft Office 365 skills
• Good geographical knowledge
• Confident communicating with hauliers and internal teams
• Supply chain, customs or dangerous goods knowledge would be useful
• German language skills would be an advantage
• Own transport is essential due to location
