Bluestones Medical is currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Scrub Nurse to join our growing team, supporting theatre services at Royal Stoke Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking for flexible agency work with excellent pay and consistent shift availability.

Shift Details

• Long Days (LD) and Night shifts available
• Block bookings available for candidates seeking consistency and longer-term placements

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac surgical procedures as a scrub practitioner
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments within the operating theatre
• Handle specialist cardiac instruments and equipment
• Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre staff
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
• Proven experience as a scrub nurse within cardiac theatres
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
