Supply Secondary Teacher

Milk Education is seeking dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to work across schools in Middlesbrough and surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils of varying abilities, and help maintain a calm, positive learning environment where every student feels motivated to succeed. You will work closely with school leadership and teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning across a range of subjects and year groups.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to inclusive education
• Ability to provide two recent references

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3–KS5 (or within your subject specialism)
• Create and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Provide feedback on pupil progress where required

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
