Water Technician - Level 1

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Technician - Level 1 to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of water treatment facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine inspections, monitoring water quality, and assisting in the treatment processes to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations. You will work closely with senior technicians and engineers, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the delivery of safe and clean water to our community.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong interest in environmental science or a related field. Basic knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment is preferred, but not required as training will be provided. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to document findings and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also necessary for this role.
