School Caretaker

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Caretaker to join our team, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our students and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the school premises, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas. Key duties will include carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, managing waste disposal, and ensuring that all facilities are in top condition. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and dismantling furniture and equipment for events, as well as performing minor repairs and reporting any major issues to the appropriate personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere. You should have experience in a similar role or relevant handyman skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential, as you will interact with staff, students, and parents regularly. Flexibility in hours may be required, particularly during school holidays or for special events.
