Secondary Teacher

Secondary Geography Teacher 

First for Education are working with a school in Redditch who are seeking a Geography Teacher to cover lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). 
The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Teacher looking for a consistent role in the new academic year.

Requirements for this role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Ideally have the ability to teach the other Humanities subjects as well!  
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills 
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching 
• Strong communication and organisational skills 
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing 
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists 

 
The successful Teacher for this role will: 

• Deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies 
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task 
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour 
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
