Senior Client Manager

A rapidly evolving UK  accountancy firm are seeking to appoint a Senior Client Manager in their Bridgend office. You will be managing a portfolio of clients, working with a varied client base across a SME market.

There would be the requirement to travel to nearby local offices.

The role of Senior Client Manager is to build relationships with clients and to have direct responsibility of client portfolios. They are responsible for the delivery of an outstanding service to clients. The role requires an influential leader who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and who can deliver for the business and for clients.

The  Senior Client Manager will own and manage a client portfolio, oversee your team’s portfolios and inputting to workflow panning. You will be delivering revenue and profitability targets and foster long term client relationships.

Our client is seeking an ACCA/ACA experienced individual who has experience managing a diverse client portfolio. You would need to be able to demonstrate prior experience managing and coaching junior employees. This experience does need to have been gained in an accountancy practice environment.

Senior Client Manager duties and responsibilities;

• Manage a client portfolio with higher level of client responsibility.
• Oversee your team’s portfolios.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of current UK accounting standards, tax legislation, technical issues and related matters, and updates team on new developments and standards.
• Use of workflow management across the team for your own portfolio.
• Deal with all elements of client service with support from Director/Partners for technical areas.
• Develop opportunities for the Group and flag to Director/Partner.
• Work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Take responsibility for delivery of quality advice.
