About the role
HR & Payroll Administrator – Wigan
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HR & Payroll Administrator to join our well-established client based in Wigan.
As a HR & Payroll Administrator, you will be solely responsible for completing the internal payroll for the company whilst providing administrative support to the HR team.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Payroll Administrator, HR Administrator or Payroll Officer.
Rates of Pay:
- £25,500 – £30,500 DOE
Shift Pattern:
As a HR & Payroll Administrator, you will work:
- Monday to Friday
- 35 hours per week
- Flexible working between 08:00 – 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a HR & Payroll Administrator are:
- Administering the full monthly payroll process to ensure that all employees are paid on time and correctly
- Providing day-to-day payroll and HR administration support in a timely and accurate manner
- Being the first point of contact for all payroll queries
- Ensuring payroll administration is kept up to date
- Provision of accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management information
- Responsible for the distribution of electric charging fobs and administration of the portal
- Managing all administration for the employee lifecycle, including new starter documentation, leavers and contract changes
- Producing employment contracts in a timely manner
- Assisting with the onboarding of new starters
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a HR & Payroll Administrator, you will need:
- HR and end-to-end payroll experience
- Experience working within the constraints of a confidential environment
- Sage 50 experience
- Strong knowledge of GDPR working practices and maintaining compliance
- Availability to start imminently is advantageous
