Retail Assistant - FTC

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract (FTC). In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with the day-to-day operations of our retail store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a welcoming and positive shopping experience for our customers. This includes greeting customers, answering queries, and providing product information to help them make informed decisions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the store’s visual standards, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring that the store is clean and organized at all times.

In addition to customer service duties, you will assist with inventory management by receiving and processing shipments, conducting stock checks, and reporting low inventory levels. You will work closely with the management team to implement promotional activities and effectively communicate sales and product information to customers. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous retail experience is preferred, but not essential.
