Multiskilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Multiskilled Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a range of mechanical systems and equipment across our facility. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will conduct routine inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and execute repairs on various equipment, including pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, supported by relevant qualifications and hands-on experience in engineering maintenance. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, along with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude are essential, as you will be required to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with electrical systems and basic PLC programming is an advantage, as you will occasionally work on cross-functional tasks involving electrical components.
