Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and commercial properties. Your main duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and ensuring that all areas are litter-free and well-presented. You will also operate a range of machinery and tools, so familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment is essential. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are critical, as you will be tasked with maintaining high standards of appearance and health and safety across all sites.

In addition to routine maintenance tasks, you will be expected to assist with seasonal projects such as landscaping, irrigation system installation, and tree care. Good communication skills are vital, as you will collaborate with team members and occasionally interact with clients to discuss their landscaping needs. A valid driver’s license is preferred, and previous experience in grounds maintenance or horticulture will be advantageous.
