Role summary

This is a full stack Web Developer role within a growing digital team delivering web-based products and enhancements across a developing platform. You’ll be involved in building, improving and maintaining web applications as part of an ambitious digital roadmap.

The role suits an experienced developer who enjoys working across the full stack, takes ownership of delivery and is confident working both independently and within a collaborative team.

 

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core and MVC
• Write clean, efficient code following best practice standards
• Develop responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap
• Build and integrate REST APIs and ASP.NET controllers
• Debug, profile, test and deploy web applications
• Work closely with designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain technical documentation and improve existing applications
• Ensure code security, mitigating common vulnerabilities (including OWASP risks)

 

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core and MVC
• Solid front-end capability with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON
• Understanding of REST APIs and IIS
• Experience debugging and profiling web applications
• Awareness of web security best practice
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
• Exposure to frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, React or similar beneficial
