Senior Associate - Private Client (Wills, Probate & Estate Planning)

Location: Romsey
Experience: 6+ PQE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Full Remuneration Package: £65,000-£75,000 DOE

A highly regarded and growing regional firm is seeking a Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its established Romsey office.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior position within a respected Private Client team, advising a high-quality client base on complex wills, trusts and estate planning matters. The role offers excellent quality work, genuine leadership opportunities and a clear pathway for continued career progression.

The Role

You will manage a varied and high-quality private client caseload, including:

• Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trust creation and administration
• Tax and succession planning
• Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex private client matters

Alongside your own caseload, you will also:

• Supervise and mentor junior members of the team
• Provide technical guidance and support across the department
• Play an active role in business development and networking
• Build and strengthen relationships with clients and professional referrers
• Contribute to the strategic growth and continued success of the Private Client team

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• 6+ years' PQE in Private Client law
• Strong technical expertise across Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning
• Experience advising on tax planning and complex estates
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Commercially minded with a proven interest in business development
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• STEP qualified, or working towards STEP, would be advantageous
• Ambitious and motivated to play a key role within a growing department
