We're looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimise enterprise-scale semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions across a complex data environment.What we're looking forThe ideal Power BI Developer will have:Expert-level experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI ServiceExtensive experience building and maintaining enterprise semantic modelsAdvanced DAX, data modelling, and performance optimisation expertiseStrong understanding of VertiPaq, composite models, aggregations, and query tuningHands-on experience implementing Incremental Refresh and dataset partitioningExperience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and XMLA endpointsStrong SQL and dimensional modelling skillsExperience managing large-scale analytical datasets and reporting solutionsStrong Python scripting experience for automation and semantic model refresh processesExperience with PowerShell, Power BI REST APIs, and administrationExposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesKnowledge of Power BI Premium and/or Microsoft FabricDesirableFinancial Services or Risk Reporting experienceExperience consuming data from Snowflake within Power BIExposure to enterprise scheduling tools such as Control-MExperience with Azure Data Platform technologies and/or dbtWhat's in it for you?£600-£660 per day (Inside IR35)6-month initial contract with potential extensionHybrid working with 3 days onsite in London (non-negotiable)Opportunity to join a high-profile programme within a globally recognised financial institutionImmediate start availableTo hear more about this Power BI Developer opportunity, contact Daire McIlhatton at Anson McCade.
