Asbestos Consultant

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Asbestos Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify potential asbestos-containing materials. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations, providing clients with comprehensive reports on asbestos risk and management strategies. Your expertise will be vital in guiding clients through the process of asbestos remediation, from initial assessment to final clearance testing.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing asbestos management plans, conducting air monitoring and sampling, and collaborating with contractors during remediation projects. You will also provide training and support to clients on safe handling and disposal practices. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders. A strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, along with the ability to stay updated on industry trends, is crucial for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in environmental science, occupational health, or a related field, along with relevant certifications, such as the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) certification. Previous experience in asbestos consulting or a similar role is highly desirable.
