PDI Technician £30,000 Basic Salary + Overtime Tonbridge Permanent | Full Time Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm, 1 Hour Lunch) | 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am – 12:30pm) Paid as Overtime Our client, a successful main dealership based in Tonbridge, is looking to recruit a PDI Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 qualified Technician looking to work in a professional dealership environment, carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on both new and used vehicles. You'll be joining a supportive workshop with excellent long-term career prospects and manufacturer training opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities • Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles. • Prepare vehicles to the highest standards prior to customer handover. • Complete servicing, safety inspections and minor mechanical repairs where required. • Identify and report any faults or defects. • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards. • Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately. • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. • Work closely with the workshop team to ensure vehicles are prepared on time. Your Background & Skills • Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent) is essential. • Previous experience as a PDI Technician or Vehicle Technician is desirable. • Good mechanical knowledge with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment. • Strong organisational and communication skills. • Full UK Driving Licence.
