Provide Education is recruiting a SEND Teacher to join an exciting new specialist SEND provision in the Barnsley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing team from the very beginning, helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident, proactive and committed to building positive relationships with children, families and professionals. You’ll play a key role in creating engaging, personalised learning experiences that meet each child’s individual needs while helping to shape the culture of a brand-new provision.

The RoleAs the SEND Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that enable every child to succeed. You’ll adapt learning to meet a wide range of SEND needs, ensuring pupils can access the curriculum in a way that is meaningful and appropriate for them.
You will also:

• Plan learning around individual support plans and EHCP’s
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to support each child’s development.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to provide high-quality classroom support.
• Liaise with Speech and Language Therapists, the SENCo, families and other professionals to ensure a consistent, child-centred approach.
• Foster a safe, nurturing and engaging classroom environment where children feel valued and confident to learn.

• A qualified teacher with a passion for inclusive education.
• Confident adapting teaching to meet a range of individual learning needs.
• Patient, creative and able to build positive relationships quickly.
• An excellent communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionals.
• Committed to helping every child achieve their personal best.
