Provide Education is recruiting Catering Assistants to support a number of friendly and welcoming schools across Barnsley.

Whether you have previous experience in a school kitchen, hospitality, or catering, we’d love to hear from you. These roles are a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding school environment with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Preparing and serving healthy meals to pupils and staff
• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean and organised
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Working as part of a supportive catering team

We’re Looking For:

• Previous catering, hospitality, or kitchen experience (preferred)
• A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• Availability to work school hours, Monday to Friday
