Civils Supervisor

💷 Rate: £300 per shift (CIS)
📅 Start Date: Monday 3rd August
⏳ Duration: 3 Months+ (Expected completion November)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Supervisor to join a major project on the Thames Water Framework in the Farnham/Crondall area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive supervisor with strong people skills and experience managing civils works within the utilities sector.

The Role

As Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements. A key aspect of this project is stakeholder engagement, as works will be carried out in areas with significant resident and client interaction.

You will be expected to:

• Supervise civils teams and subcontractors on site
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and to the required standards
• Coordinate site activities and manage daily operations
• Liaise closely with the client and Thames Water representatives
• Engage professionally with local residents regarding access requirements and project updates
• Maintain site records, permits, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Essential Requirements

✅ SSSTS
✅ Thames Water Induction
✅ Previous experience supervising civils works, ideally within utilities/water frameworks
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
✅ Ability to manage resident access requirements and maintain positive community relations
