Level 3 Vehicle Technician – WolverhamptonPertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Wolverhampton on a temporary to permanent basis.

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Pay Rate: From £15.98 per hour, dependent on experience

About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician looking to secure a position with a reputable employer. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  
  
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
  
  
• Complete MOT preparation and repair work.
  
  
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
  
  
• Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.
  
  
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  
  
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3, IMI Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  
  
• Previous workshop experience preferred.
  
  
• Full UK Driving Licence.
  
  
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  
  

Desirable

• MOT Tester Licence.
  
  
• Hybrid and Electric Vehicle qualification.
  
  
• Experience in a dealership or independent garage environment.
