About the role
You’ll support the Laser Operator on the shop floor, helping to finish, inspect and pack products as they come off the laser machine. This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, care and teamwork really matter.

Key responsibilities
- Inspecting, finishing and polishing products using hand tools
- Supporting the Laser Operator with day‑to‑day production tasks
- Completing job cards and day sheets accurately
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Carrying out visual and tolerance checks
- Boxing and packing products to required standards
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
- Learning laser machine operation for holiday/absence cover
- Experience in production, manufacturing or metalwork
- Confidence using hand tools and working to fine tolerances
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
- Open to overtime to support
