Job Title Terminal Scheduler
Summary We’re looking for an experienced Terminal Scheduler to join a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient coordination and optimisation of terminal operations. This is an on-site position, ideal for someone with strong scheduling experience and an understanding of marine and fuel operations. If you thrive on problem-solving and clear decision-making, this role could be a great fit.
Overview Our client is a major player in the energy and fuel industry, known for maintaining rigorous operational standards and driving commercial value through efficient terminal operations.
Responsibilities
Deliver the Daily Stock Progression Report
Prepare and deliver the weekly terminal import/export plan, including daily re-optimisation for any deviations
Coordinate with Terminal Maintenance, Operations teams and JV interfaces for scheduling unplanned outages
Manage tankage and jetty scheduling with internal and external stakeholders
Support fuel quality management and seasonal specification changes
Oversee additive stock levels and purchase requirements
Complete local vessel clearances and prepare daily night notes for handover to shift supervisors
Must-have Requirements
Strong scheduling experience, ideally in a terminal or similar environment
Knowledge of shipping, hydrocarbon products, and maintenance processes
Sound understanding of fuel quality regulations
Experience of marine operations
Demonstrated commercial awareness
Ability to develop solutions to complex operational issues
Proven problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
Nice-to-have Skills
Relevant degree or HNC/HND qualification
Familiarity with business processes and JV environments
