About the role

Our client, a large national contractor is looking for a HR Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have had hands on experience and worked closely with managers and employees providing practical HR support and guidance. CIPD level 5 qualified with good working knowledge and understanding of the UK employment is essential for this role.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including coordinating new starter processes, maintaining accurate personnel records, producing employment documentation, and processing contractual and employee changes.
  • Produce, monitor and interpret HR data and management information, including absence trends, staff turnover and engagement metrics, providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and managers, acting as a trusted and accessible point of contact for day-to-day HR support.
  • Respond to employee enquiries promptly, offering practical advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters.
  • Partner with managers to provide advice on employee relations cases, including attendance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, investigations and performance management.
  • Support employees and managers throughout every stage of the employment journey, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with company policies

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrable HR Advisory experience gained in a professional environment
  • Thorough understanding of current UK employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice
  • CIPD level 5 qualified
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including emotional intelligence
  • Exceptional levels of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a busy environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise daily tasks

 

This is a full time , permanent position with a completive salary depended on experience.
