Operational Security & Project Support Location: Belfast, On-site Rate: £28.53 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: 36 hours per week (4.5 days) Contract: 3 yearsMorson are recruiting on behalf of a leading global aerospace and defence company for an experienced Operational Security & Project Support professional. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy security operations team, supporting the delivery of physical security projects, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple UK sites.The Role
Working closely with the Physical Security Operations team, you will support the delivery of security operations, project coordination, supplier management, and business improvement activities. This varied role requires excellent organisational skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage physical security project activities across UK strategic projects.Support the delivery of security operations, security systems, fire safety, and emergency response services.Monitor, audit, and analyse operational performance to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.Support daily operational meetings, track actions through to completion, and produce weekly KPI reports.Assist in managing security, systems, and fire service providers, ensuring contractual performance is maintained.Support the management of operational risks, issues, and compliance activities.Assist with fire safety and emergency response planning and implementation.Provide security, systems, and fire safety input into business projects and events.Lead CAPEX activities on project-based initiatives.Act as the central coordinator for Active Risk Management (ARM).Maintain EHS 11 Point Plan documentation and compliance.Support supplier performance management alongside Site Security and Fire Operations Managers.
Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum two years' project management training or experience.Background in business administration, operational support, or project coordination.Experience carrying out audits, process reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business requirements.
Desirable Skills

Experience managing contractors or third-party service providers.Understanding of KPIs, SLAs, and supplier performance management.Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.Experience working with security contractors.Willingness and ability to travel at short notice.
