Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team in Redruth.

In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines to produce or repair textile products, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and precise stitching based on patterns and specifications. You will work carefully to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards, including accurate seam allowances and neat finishes.

• Sew bespoke garments including reinforcements and fastenings.
• Operate zigzag, overlock, and blind hem machines to a high standard.
• Check finished products against specifications.
• Carry out alterations where required.
• Log completed work accurately using manufacturing software.

• Previous sewing machine experience desirable but not essential.
• Thorough and precise approach to work.
• High attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with your hands.
• Numerically competent and computer literate.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of quality and accuracy.

• £12.71 per hour.
• Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.
• Friday, 7.30am - 12pm.
