Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a variety of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting complex electrical issues, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, alongside skills in mechanical and electronic maintenance. A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering is required, along with relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You should be proficient in reading electrical schematics and have a solid understanding of PLCs, motor controls, and instrumentation. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential for this role. Health and Safety awareness and familiarity with electrical regulations are crucial to ensure a safe working environment.
