Software Test Engineer

Software Test Engineer   Based on-site in Stevenage   Salary up to £58,000   You're not a bug-hunter.   You're the person who decides whether a complex system is ready. Whether the simulation is mission-worthy. Whether the code can be certified and shipped.   That's a different job.    We're looking for a Software Test Engineer to join a Simulation Software team in Stevenage. You'll own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for simulation software releases, working across planning, execution, and formal qualification reporting. This is serious work, for serious software, in one of the most demanding engineering environments in UK defence.   What you'll need:

• Test automation experience
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge (GitLab, JIRA, scripting)
• Solid grounding in logs and data analysis
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Eligibility for SC clearance (British Citizenship)
