Location: Glascoed Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Length: 12 Months IR35 Status: Inside IR35Morson are proud to be recruiting on behalf of BAE Systems for Production Operatives to play a crucial role in various areas on the shop floor at their Glascoed site. This position involves operating a diverse array of equipment, from machinery to mobile work tools, and involves manual handling in alignment with set Standard Operating Procedures, quality standards, and comprehensive risk assessments.The role is focussed specifically on following the Manufacturing instructions & following the guidance of the Cell Leader.Role Responsibilities

Follow site safety procedures and wear necessary protective gearEngage in audits and discussions to maintain a safe work environment in line with regulationsEnsure work meets quality standards set for the processAccurately document work-related data to enhance process improvementManage inventory effectively to minimise waste and handle rejected materialsConduct regular checks to maintain accurate stock recordsBe adaptable to shift between tasks or areas based on business needsCoordinate work timings and actively engage in meetings to foster effective communication among team membersReport to the Cell Leader

Standard shift (07:30-16:30) - £17.41p/hr PAYETwo-Shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 swap weekly) - £21.41p/hr PAYEThree-Shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 swap weekly) - £21.77p/hr PAYE
