Milk Education is seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a supportive and dynamic Primary school in Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT looking to start their teaching career in a community school that has won several awards for its inclusion and diversity. You will be working in a nurturing environment that prioritises professional development and student progress.
The school is looking for a KS2 Teacher to start in September 2026 and has confirmed that, after 3 months, they will provide one term of induction support.
About the ECT Role
As an ECT, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
- Develop classroom practice with guidance from experienced mentors
- Build strong relationships with students, promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Adapt teaching methods to support a diverse range of learners
- Take part in CPD, reflection, and regular progress reviews as part of your ECT induction
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental planning
This role is ideal for enthusiastic, committed ECTs ready to bring fresh ideas, energy, and passion to a Primary classroom.
What We’re Looking For in an ECT
To be successful in this Primary ECT role, you will need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending award
- A desire to grow, learn, and develop through your ECT induction
- A proactive attitude toward behaviour management and pastoral care
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A genuine commitment to helping students succeed
