Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff, while actively preventing theft and ensuring compliance with store policies. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols of the retail premises, and responding promptly to any incidents or disturbances. You will also be tasked with identifying and apprehending shoplifters and ensuring that all security-related incidents are documented accurately for further investigation.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. You should be physically fit, as the role requires standing for extended periods and occasionally intervening in theft situations. Familiarity with security systems and protocols, along with a strong understanding of customer service, will be crucial to your success in this position.
