Part Time Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part Time Retail Security Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the premises, preventing theft, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your primary duties will include conducting regular patrols of the store, observing and reporting suspicious activities, and assisting in the investigation of any incidents that may occur. You will also be expected to engage with customers and staff to promote a welcoming atmosphere while remaining alert to potential security threats.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen sense of responsibility. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred but not mandatory. You must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and be comfortable using security equipment such as CCTV systems. Additionally, a valid security guard license may be necessary depending on local regulations.
