The Opportunity

Our client is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join their busy distribution operation in Cambuslang. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established logistics business offering stable hours and long-term career prospects.



Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.



Shift Pattern

• Backshift role

• Start times between 4:00pm and 7:00pm

• 8-hour shifts

• 5 shifts over 7 days

• Weekend working required on a rotational basis

• Shift patterns and rotas will be provided in advance to support work-life balance and allow for forward planning

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance FLT equipment safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers.

• Moving palletised stock throughout the warehouse and storage areas.

• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.

• Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties as required.

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

• Supporting colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).

• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.

• Flexible approach to shift patterns and weekend working.
