About the role
Be the first impression of this long-established and respected firm of solicitors in Kent, looking for a Front of House / Receptionist for their busy Gravesend office. If you have previous reception experience within a law firm, enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As the face of the Gravesend office, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and telephone enquiries, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of the firm. This is a varied and rewarding role combining front-of-house responsibilities with administrative support. You'll work closely with fee earners and colleagues to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office while delivering an outstanding client experience. Key Responsibilities Reception & Client Care • Welcome clients and visitors in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. • Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently. • Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings. • Maintain reception, client waiting areas and meeting rooms to a high professional standard. • Administrative Support • Open, sort, scan and distribute incoming post. • Prepare outgoing post and arrange courier collections. • Assist with photocopying, scanning, printing and document preparation. • Provide administrative support to fee earners and support staff. • Order and maintain office stationery and supplies. • Support colleagues across other office locations when required. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: • Previous reception experience within a law firm (essential). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A professional, friendly and approachable manner. • Outstanding customer service and telephone skills. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office systems. • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. • A proactive, flexible and positive attitude. • Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism. • A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
